Salsa Dance Lessons
FREE TO PARTICIPATE
These 15-minute dances let you create expressive movements while manipulating hoops through body-based and off-body tricks. This will be taught by Valerie Cunningham Campbell, Owner and Director of The Dance Loft. 
Come solo or bring a partner
Time: 1:00 pm - 1:15 pm

Hula Hoop Dance Lessons
FREE TO PARTICIPATE
These 15-minute dance lessons let you create expressive movements while manipulating hoops through body-based and off-body tricks. This will be taught by Valerie Cunningham Campbell, Owner and Director of the Dance Loft.

The Barn Dance/Virginia Reel
FREE TO PARTICIPATE
Step back into the 17th Century with this fold dance originating from Scotland, Ireland, and England. This will be taught by Valeri Cunningham Campbell, Owner and Director of The Dance Loft.

Time:2:45 pm - 3:30 pm

Schedule of Events on October 31, 2025

Carved Pumpkin Contest

  • Drop off your carved pumpkin at Robin Sweeny between 5-5:30pm
    • Bring LED tea lights in your pumpkin if you wish to illuminate it for judging
    • A maximum of 26 pumpkins can enter
  • Vote for your favorite pumpkin until 7:30pm
  • We will announce the winners at the end of the Dog Costume Contest. The pumpkin with the most votes will win a prize!
  • Please pick up your pumpkin 7:30-8pm. 

Halloween Parade 

  • The Parade starts at 6:00pm sharp
  • Line up for the Parade at 5:45pm at the Station 1 Firehouse  (corner of Johnson & Caledonia streets) 

Trick or Treat Lane

  • The Halloween Parade finishes at Trick or Treat Lane located at the Robin Sweeny Park Basketball Courts around 6:15pm
  • Sponsors will have tables giving out treats

Howl’O’Ween Dog Costume Contest Sponsored by Soulmates

  • The contest starts at 6:30 at Litho & Caledonia St. 
  • Dress up your pups and bring them with you on Halloween to compete 
  • Contest is FREE to enter! No registration required. Just line up behind the sign for the category you'd like to enter (pick one) at the intersection of Litho & Caledonia. 
  • Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Best Little Dog (under 35 lbs.) in costume, Best Big Dog (over 35 lbs.) in costume, and Best Couple (human and dog). Soulmates' staff will be judging.

Caledonia St. from Bridgeway near Johnson to Bee St. will be closed from 3pm-9pm.  

Caledonia between Bee St. and Locust St. will be closed until 9pm.
